Does one-way mirror film work at night?
One-way mirror film relies on a light differential. During the day, when it is brighter outside, you can see out but people cannot see in. At night, when interior lights are on and it is darker outside, the effect reverses. For 24-hour privacy, we recommend combining mirror film with blinds or curtains for evening use.
What colors does mirror film come in?
We carry silver (classic reflective), bronze (warm, subtle), blue (modern, cool-toned), and neutral grey. Silver provides the strongest mirror effect and heat rejection. Bronze is the most popular for office buildings as it blends with most facade colors.
Can mirror film be applied to interior glass partitions?
Mirror film works best on exterior-facing glass where there is a natural light differential between inside and outside. On interior partitions where both sides are equally lit, the mirror effect does not work. For interior partition privacy, we recommend frosted film instead.
